Unscheduled downtime - Mucuri Unit
São Paulo, February 10th, 2012 - Suzano Papel e
Celulose S.A. (Bovespa: SUZB5) hereby announces to its
shareholders and the market in general that it conducted an
unscheduled downtime in the recovery boiler of line 2 of the
Mucuri Unit this January. Following the aforementioned
downtime, the necessary repairs were made and production was
resumed.
The factory is already operating at full capacity. The total
production shortfall is estimated at
50,000 tons, which represents 2.6% of the Company's annual
production capacity. Several different measures will be
implemented throughout the year in order to achieve partial
recovery of production.
