Anna's Gender Equality Prize for 2017, is awarded Swedbank with the statement that the bank, through its dedicated and long-term commitment, has achieved major concrete successes in the field of gender equality and diversity.

Anna's Gender Equality Prize is awarded annually to an individual, company, club, project or working group in the banking and finance industry for good efforts in gender equality and diversity work.

'I became incredibly happy and proud when I found out that Swedbank was awarded the Anna Gender Equality Prize. Everyone involved in the bank deserves big congratulations, we have done this together! The formulation in the statement saying that we have lived up to our vision of being the inclusive bank for the many households and companies, means a lot for us. The prize confirms that we are on the right track - now we continue our work with even more energy and determination, 'says Birgitte Bonnesen, President and CEO at Swedbank.

The prize was awarded by the BAO's and the Central Equality and Diversity Committee of the Financial Sector Union of Sweden, in connection with the financial industry's big diversity day.
