Swire Properties Limited ("Swire Properties"), a subsidiary of Swire Pacific Limited ("Swire Pacific"), is considering the possibility of a disposal of its entire 100% interest in its wholly-owned subsidiary which owns, and engages in office development on, the land situated at Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong known and registered in the Land Registry as New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6312 (the "Disposal"). If the Disposal were to proceed, it may constitute a discloseable transaction for Swire Pacific and/or Swire Properties under Chapter 14 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the "Listing Rules"). If that happens, Swire Pacific and/or Swire Properties will comply with any applicable requirements prescribed by the Listing Rules and/or Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong) as and when appropriate.
