SFPI acquires a strategic majority stake in the office building Klausstrasse 4 Swiss Finance & Property Investment AG is the new majority owner of the office building Klausstrasse 4 in Zurich. Furthermore, several rental successes, the sale of a property in Winterthur and another apartment from the project Parco d'Oro characterize the second quarter 2016. Acquisitions and divestments

Swiss Finance & Property Investment AG has newly become the majority shareholder (65%) of the property Klausstrasse 4 in Zurich. A strategically important 25% stake was acquired at market value, effectively from 1 July 2016. The majority stake enables a significantly better alignment of the property to the objectives of SFPI.

As of June 30, 2016, the property Maienstrasse 2-12 in Winterthur was sold significantly above its market value.

Rental agreements

In the aforementioned property Klausstrasse 4 an additional 769 m2on the 2nd floor were leased to a financial services company. This is an important step to appropriately rent this prestigious estate. In addition, after the successful lease of the 4thfloor to a dermatological community practice, all major spaces of the property Zeltweg 67 in Zurich are rented.

Promotions

Another 170 m2apartment from the project Parco d'Oro was sold. There is still solid interest in the remaining five units. With the opening of the Gotthard Base Tunnel, Ascona and Ticino in general are increasingly perceived as a potential second home site for people from German-speaking Switzerland.
