Sydney Airport has signed a new five-and-a-half-year agreement with APN Outdoor for advertising rights at the T1 international terminal, T2 domestic terminal and airport exterior signage. This agreement is one of the most valuable out of home advertising contracts in Australia and New Zealand.

"We look forward to continuing our long-term partnership with APN Outdoor to transform Sydney Airport's advertising portfolio," Sydney Airport managing director and chief executive officer Kerrie Mather said.

"APN Outdoor has taken a leadership position in out of home and digital advertising, so it's well placed to deliver an enhanced media platform to better engage with customers travelling through Sydney Airport," Ms Mather said.

APN Outdoor was selected following a competitive tender process.

Over the next 12 months, Sydney Airport and APN Outdoor plan to consolidate the airport advertising portfolio by investing in high quality signage and digitising existing media at new and refurbished sites across both terminal precincts.

APN Outdoor chief executive officer Richard Herring said the company is proud to be strengthening its existing partnership with Sydney Airport.
