• Off-net transactional TalkTalk TV users will become Rakuten TV customers - gaining access to all the content available on Rakuten TV
  • TalkTalk customers' service is to remain unchanged, with continued access to TVOD, EST, linear channels and SVOD via TalkTalk TV on their set top boxes and connected devices

Rakuten TV has been carefully selected as the service for off-net transactional customers to continue enjoying their previously purchased films and TV programmes. The base, which is largely made up customers who do not take TalkTalk broadband and TV, will be automatically moved to Rakuten TV. Off-net transactional users will be able to watch their purchased content through Rakuten TV where available and can purchase new content in 4K HDR across a number of compatible Smart TVs.

TalkTalk will continue to offer a great TV service to its broadband and TV subscribers who remain unaffected*. As such, customers will still be able to access all of their existing purchased content via their TalkTalk TV set top box, or through the TalkTalk TV app online, on iOS and Android enabled devices.

Customers affected will be contacted by TalkTalk TV ahead of their migration to Rakuten TV.

*TalkTalk broadband and TV customers who were either former blinkbox users or TalkTalk TV Store users before they signed up to a TalkTalk broadband and TV plan may also be affected if they have not synced accounts.
