The Swiss media group Tamedia has appointed Marco Boselli Head of Publishing and Processes of Commuter Media effective late 2016. In addition to his future responsibilities in the new Advertising & Commuter Media division, Marco Boselli will continue to serve as editor-in-chief of 20 Minuten. Gaudenz Looser has been named new deputy editor-in-chief.

Zurich, 4 February 2016 - Marco Boselli has been editor-in-chief of 20 Minuten since 2003 and has played a significant role in developing and expanding 20 Minuten into the leading media network within Switzerland. In his new function as Head of Publishing and Processes of Commuter Media he will be responsible for the editorial concepts and processes of all of Tamedia's commuter media in Switzerland and abroad. Furthermore, he will oversee the entire branding and marketing of 20 Minuten, 20 minutes, Friday and Tilllate. In addition to his new assignments, Marco Boselli will continue to serve as editor-in-chief of 20 Minuten, Friday and Tilllate.

Effective 1 April 2016, Gaudenz Looser will be promoted to deputy editor-in-chief of 20 Minuten. He is succeeding Peter Wälty who will take over the management of Tamedia's new Digital News & Development department. Gaudenz Looser has been with 20 Minuten for over ten years. Since 2012, he has been an editor and a member of the editorial management. Annina Flückiger, Head of Advertiser Marketing and Sales Promotions of the new Advertising & Commuter Media division as of late 2016, will additionally take on responsibility for the Branding/Reader Marketing of the commuter media.

In the new Advertising & Commuter Media division, scheduled to start up in late 2016, the Swiss media group Tamedia will combine the currently decentralised sales teams in one advertising market team to provide even more comprehensive services to the customers. The development of the sales and service organisation was announced in August 2015.
