Tata Motors Signs Pact With DRB-Hicom Unit To Sell Trucks To Malaysian Armed Forces

Tata Motors Ltd. (500570.BY) Monday it has signed an agreement with a DRB-Hicom Bhd. (1619.KU) unit to market and sell light trucks to Malaysia's armed forces.
India's biggest auto maker by sales said the Malaysian company will initially market and sell Tata's 2.5 ton-5 ton trucks, including the LPTA 715 and the LPTA 1623. It didn't give any other details.
So far, Tata Motors has supplied more than 100,000 vehicles to the Indian military. It has also supplied to international organisations such as the U.S. General Services Administration and Oxfam, the company said.
