Tatneft' imeni V D Shashina : Annual General Meeting of JSC "Nizhnekamskshina" Shareholders

The annual general meeting of JSC "Nizhnekamskshina" shareholders was held in Nizhnekamsk (Tatarstan).
The event was attended by Rinat Sabirov, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Anwar Vakhitov, Director of "Tatneft-Neftekhim" Management Company, Elvira Dolotkazina, Deputy Head of the Nizhnekamsk municipal area and Nikolai Zelenov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC "Nizhnekamskshina".
The Joint Stock Company was steadily developing in 2014 retaining its position as one of the leaders of the Russian tire manufacturing industry. The Company produced 9 million 346 thousand tires. The Company's share in the total volume of the domestic tire factories and foreign manufacturers, localized in Russia amounted to 18 percent with the total share of all the tire plants of JSC TATNEFT amounting to 27 percent.
The main markets for the tire products of JSC "Nizhnekamskshina" in the CIS countries are Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Belarus. The products are also exported to South Ossetia, Lithuania, Turkey, Serbia, Georgia and Egypt. The overall geography of exports for the period under review totaled 33 countries.
"Nizhnekamskshina" is the main supplier of tires for the leading automakers, including Renault-Nissan, UAZ, VW Group Rus and Ford Sollers. Based on the results of 2014 RENO-NISSAN named the factory a reliable supplier.
Tires KAMA-EURO 129 175/70 R14, Viatti Bosco A/T (V-237) 215/65 R16, produced by JSC "Nizhnekamskshina" were a prize winner in the category "Industrial and technology products" according to the results of the All-Russian "100 best goods of Russia" contest in 2014.
The factory's priorities include constant renewal of the products' range and quality. During 2014 the factory started production of 53 new models of Viatti tires. Another 36 models are planned to develop in 2015.
2014 witnessed the continued implementation of investment projects aimed at modernization of tire production. The major projects implemented last year included putting in operation the machine for coloring uncured tires, commissioning of the equipment for dynamic imbalance measuring, reconstruction was performed of the E line for strength heterogeneity and imbalance measuring. Currently, preparatory works for installation of the X-ray unit for tires quality control are under way. The contract was concluded for the supply of the VMI company new line of steel cord cutting and mating.
The works were continued to improve the process management in order to improve the labor productivity and the activity effectiveness of the Petrochemical Complex enterprises. The program of introducing lean production elements is being actively implemented.
One of the Company's priorities is the environment protection and ensuring the industrial and production safety. According to the results of the inspection environmental audit JSC "Nizhnekamskshina" confirmed in 2014 the validity of the international IQNet certificate and conformity of the environmental management system of the organization to the requirements of GOST R ISO 14001:2007.
JSC "Nizhnekamskshina" was a winner of the Xth All-Russian contest "Leader of environmental activity in Russia in 2014". The Company was awarded an honorary diploma of the contest winner in the nomination "Best enterprise in the area of ecology and environmental performance" at the International Forum "Innovation and Development" in September 2014.
JSC "Nizhnekamskshina" is a social-oriented enterprise. In 2014, the administration and the Trade Union committee of JSC "Nizhnekamskshina" fulfilled the commitments stipulated in the Collective Agreement.
During the meeting, the shareholders elected the Board of Directors, which included Anwar Vakhitov, Director of OOO "Tatneft-Neftekhim" Management Company; Radiy Burganov, Executive Director of JSC "Nizhnekamskshina"; Farid Gaifutdinov, Deputy Head of URNiN Department, JSC TATNEFT; Nickolay Evseykin, Head of Business Process Analysis Office, Strategic Planning Department of JSC TATNEFT; Rinat Zien; Nurislam Syubaev, Economic Department Head - Adviser to the General Director of JSC TATNEFT on Foreign Trade Affairs and financial and banking issues; Irek Khafizov, Head of Production and Technical Department, OOO "Tatneft-Neftekhim" Management Company; Ilgizar Yakushev, Deputy General Director of JSC "Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding".
Rinat Sabirov, Assistant to the President of Tatarstan, was appointed to the JSC "Nizhnekamskshina" Board of Directors based on the Golden Share owned by the Government.
At the first meeting of the Company's Board of Directors held after the shareholders general meeting Radiy Burganov was elected as its Chairman.
The general meeting of shareholders approved the Company's annual report and the financial statements of JSC "Nizhnekamskshina". The meeting elected members of the Audit Commttee. ZAO "PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit" (Moscow) was approved as an external auditor of JSC "Nizhnekamskshina".
