A supervisory audit of the integrated management system (IMS) of industrial safety, occupational health and environment control for compliance with international standards ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 was successfully completed at JSC TATNEFT.
The audit results were announced at the final meeting with the representatives of the departments, offices of the Company and experts of JSC "Bureau Veritas Certification Rus". The regular external audit was designed to determine the dynamics of changes after the re-certification of IMS in 2012.
The auditors visited the production sites of the NGDU "Almetyevneft" and   Bugulma Mechanical Plant, as well as the departments and services of the Company's executive management establishment.
Natalia Kireyeva, Team Leader of the JSC "Bureau Veritas Certification Rus", presented the audit results again recalling the criteria of this process, including not only checking the relevant documentation, but also monitoring the activities of the staff and communication with the employees. The auditor accentuated the achievements of the Joint Stock Company and specified the strong points of the ISM: leadership of the top management, competence of the manager and the personnel in the management functioning system, effective environmental performance of the management programs, comprehensive study-based projects implementation and application of automated systems for production control. The advantages of the Company include consistent implementation of the  facilities operation video recording  for providing monitoring of work performance safety of both its own operational staff and that of the contracting organizations; availability of efficient health and safety inspectors; provision of resources to maintain and improve the IMS, including such areas as improving working conditions for oil and gas operators, maintaining and developing the production culture   and others.
Based on the complete analysis of the JSC TATNEFT's IMS operation the auditors delivered a positive opinion emphasizing the level of development and maturity of the TATNEFT's integrated management system of industrial safety, occupational health and environment control.
