Tatneft' imeni V D Shashina : Engineering Developments of TATNEFT Won the Republican Review Contest on Energy Conservation

Opening of the XVIth International specialized exhibition "Energy. Resource Saving-2015" and the XVth International Symposium "Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving" took place at the "Kazan Fair" Exhibition Center on April 1, 2015 The event was attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, Acting President of Tatarstan, Farid Mukhametshin, State Council Chairman of the Republic of Tatarstan, Alexei Pesoshin, Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Ravil Zaripov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Industry and Trade.

Advanced technologies and engineering developments in the field of energy and resources saving were presented in the halls of the Exhibition Center by more than 130 companies. There were companies from 15 countries and 29 regions of Russia among the participants.

In the frame of the exhibition opening there were awards presented to the winners of the "Energy-efficient equipment and technologies" contest. TATNEFT Company received two first degree diplomas: one of them in the category "New Products" for the liquid filter with improved performance to protect brazed plate heat exchangers and the second one in the category "Energy efficient products" for the submersible electric motor with a high power factor.

The exposition of TATNEFT was one of the most representative at the exhibition. Rustam Minnikhanov, Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan, and honorable guests inspected the materials submitted by the Company. TATNEFT Company presented the display stands describing the corporate program of import substitution, efficient technologies and equipment for different areas of the Company's activities. Special exhibits were devoted to the study of Domanik deposits by TATNEFT, reconstruction of the "Nizhnekamsk CHP" with the use of low potential steam turbines and the TANECO Refining and Petrochemical Plants Complex.

In the frame of implementing the corporate energy saving program (2011-2020) TATNEFT saved material and natural resources in the amount of 6.132 billion rubles during the period of 2011-2014.

On the same day, the media representatives were also distinguished at the meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan for coverage of the energy saving theme in the Republic of Tatarstan. The E "Oil newspaper" of the JSC TATNEFT's press service was awarded a diploma in the nomination "The best news media".
