OOO "Tatneft - AZS Center" will be the fuel supplier of the XVIth FINA World Aquatics Championship 2015
The signing ceremony of the intent agreement with the national partners of the XVth FINA World Aquatics Championship was held at the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The ceremony was attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Julio Maglione, President of the International Swimming Federation (FINA), Vladimir Leonov, Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ilsur Metshin, Mayor of Kazan, Azat Kadyrov, General Director of ANO "Executive Directorate of Sports Projects", Vyacheslav Chichkov, Director of OOO "Tatneft - AZS Center", and other persons.
"The World Aquatics Championship is the most high-profile event of the year for us," Rustam Minnikhanov said. "And we're going to hold it in such a way that it will become an unforgettable experience. To do this, there are all conditions and opportunities." According to Rustam Minnikhanov, there are a lot of efforts applied in the Republic for the development and promotion of sports. Hosting international sport events allows Tatarstan to be more and more recognizable in the world, attracts the flow of tourists to the region, and in addition, the interest is increasing to the Republic on the part of the business community. President of the Republic of Tatarstan reminded that there would be 188 countries attending the World Aquatics Championship in 2015 with TV broadcast carried out in 202 countries.
OOO "Tatneft - AZS Center" will be a partner of the World Championship in the category of "Fuel Supplier". Azat Kadyrov signed the agreement for ANO "Executive Directorate of Sports Projects".
The structure of "Tatneft - AZS Center" includes nine branches, which operate 312 filling stations (including 81 multi-fuel filling stations, 21 automatic filling stations, 1 floating filing station and 10 gas stations), 5 tank farms and 224 associated service facilities.
The Company operates in the territory of ten constituents of the Russian Federation: Tatarstan, Chuvashia, Mari El, Udmurtia, Bashkortostan, the Samara, Chelyabinsk, Sverdlovsk, Kemerovo and Ulyanovsk regions.
