A delegation of Yokogawa Electric Corporation headed by Takashi Nishijima, President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company, visited the NPiNHZ Complex in Nizhnekamsk on October 2.
The visit began with a business meeting with Leonid Alekhin, General Director of TANECO, where the parties discussed prospects of further cooperation in the development process of the Refining and Petrochemical Plants Complex. Welcoming the delegation Leonid Alekhin said that over the joint work period   Yokogawa Electric Corporation had proved to be a reliable and responsible business partner. All the works had been carried out accurately, professionally and efficiently.
The guests visited the production site and were acquainted with the operation of the NPiNHZ Complex's Central Control Room.
The professionals of Yokogawa and TANECO follow the principle of the united team in their operation. The project's challenges and risks are discussed openly in order to find the most optimal solution and elaborate appropriate measures. The project implementation progress is monitored by the parties from basic engineering through  works completion.
The General Contractor has designed the NPiNHZ Complex system architecture taking into account the project scale and the possibility of future expansion. This would ensure completion of all the subsequent phases of the refinery complex.
The TANECO construction widely incorporates innovative technologies of establishing a network infrastructure, security and data backup systems. This allows for   maximum effect of the Complex's activities and the environmental safety.
The General Contractor has recommended key products of Yokogawa Corporation: the CENTUM VP based DCS system and the ProSafe RS based emergency shutdown (ESD) system, as main elements of the technical quotation.
In addition, the experts of Yokogawa Electric CIS together with the professionals of JSC TANECO have implemented the advanced process control (APC) system project, which will allow TANECO to significantly increase the economic efficiency and   expected return on investment.
