Tatneft' imeni V D Shashina : President of the Republic of Tatarstan Held a Meeting in Leninogorsk Concerning Celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the City and the 70th Anniversary of NGDU "Leninogorskneft"

During his working trip to Leninogorsk district Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, held a meeting concerning preparation and celebration of the 60th anniversary of the of Leninogorsk city foundation and the 70th anniversary of establishing of "Leninogorskneft" Oil and Gas Production Board of  JSC TATNEFT.
The main purpose of the visit was monitoring the progress of preparations for celebration of the anniversary events.  Rustam Minnikhanov was accompanied by Nail Maganov, General Director of JSC TATNEFT, Ryagat Khusainov, Head of the Leninogorsk Municipal District, Rafael Nurmukhametov, Head of NGDU "Leninogorskneft" and other officials.
President of Tatarstan visited a number of social facilities, where renovations were taking place. Those facilities included secondary general education school No. 2, the reconstruction of which was performed at the expense of the republican budget and JSC TATNEFT. The construction work is scheduled for completion by the end of August this year.
Rustam Minnikhanov also visited the reconstructed Leninogorsk Palace of Culture and instructed to maintain the classic shape of the building introducing new striking features. President of the Republic of Tatarstan proposed to incorporate the oil subjects with artistic paintings and photographs of the veterans of the oil industry in the interior.
The next visited facility was the children's in-patient facility of the Leninogorsk central district hospital, built in 1978, where the first major overhaul of the building is underway.
A meeting on preparation and celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Leninogorsk city foundation and the 70th anniversary of establishing of "Leninogorskneft" Oil and Gas Production Board of JSC TATNEFT was held as part of the planned activities.
Addressing the audience, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized the importance and significance of these two important dates, as the development of Tatarstan oil fields began in Leninogorsk area starting at Shugurovsky area with well No. 1 of Romashkinskoye   oilfield.
In connection with the anniversaries the oilmen together with the Republic are implementing a number of social projects in the city of Leninogorsk and Leninogorsk district.
It is planned to open the renovated oil museum of NGDU "Leninogorskneft" and the museum of the Shugurovsky bituminous oil factory in August 2015.
All the designated undertakings are planned to be completed in time.
