Tatneft' imeni V D Shashina : Project of Environmental Strategy Is Being Discussed at TATNEFT

A new Company's environmental strategy project has been submitted for public discussion at JSC TATNEFT.
The project of the Environmental Strategy elaborated at the Company and designed for the period from 2016 to 2025 is based on the fundamental documents of the Russian Federation in the energy and environmental sectors.
The elaborated Strategy rests on the Company's policy documents and internal corporate programs  contributing to achieve the objectives of the environmental safety.
The new Environmental Strategy will be the basis for a new environmental program of JSC TATNEFT. The currently existing program will be completed in 2015.
The draft is published in the corporate "Oil News" and "Oil Newspaper" (http://www.gazeta.tatneft.ru/news/show/14468). It presents an overview of the current environment state and JSC TATNEFT's activities aimed at ensuring environmental safety. They cover air protection, rational use and protection of water and land resources, production and consumption waste management system.
The integrated management system established in the Company; interaction with stakeholders and a complex of measures for industrial environmental control applied at the Company promote sustainable development in the environmental and energy sectors.
The Strategy also spells out main trends and lines of the Company's development in the coming years and implementation mechanisms.
