TATNEFT The Xth Science and Technology Fair of ideas and proposals of the TATNEFT Group of Companies organized jointly with the Scientific and Technical Society of Oil and Gas Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan was held in Almetyevsk (Republic of Tatarstan).
The Science and Technology Fair is held every two years in order to enhance the creative activities of engineers and technical workers, professionals and innovators to address pressing technical, technological, geological, organizational and economic issues facing TATNEFT Company.
The extensive exposition of the structural divisions of the Company and oil service enterprises of Tatarstan deployed on two floors of the "Neftche" Palace of Culture familiarized the participants with the latest inventions, technical solutions and projects in various lines of the industrial activities.
The Contest Commission of the Science and Technology Fair had reviewed 474 proposals from 16 structural divisions and 6 management companies this year. The winners of the Fair were presented diplomas and cash prizes during the awarding ceremony.
The best young innovators and organizers of the rationalization activities at the enterprises were also distinguished there.
The works were nominated in seventeen areas: "Geology and development of oil and gas fields", "EOR methods", "Well Construction", "Well Workover", "Oil and Gas Production", "Oil and Gas Treatment", "Reservoir Pressure Maintenance", "Machinery, Equipment and Specialized Machinery", "Energy", "Ecology and Protection of Oilfield Equipment against Corrosion", "Labor Protection and Industrial Safety", "Information Technologies", "Financial and Economic Activities", "Scientific and Technical Support of Production Activities", "Petrochemical Activities", "Oil Refining", "Sales of Crude Oil and Petroleum Products".
The teams of NGDU "Almetyevneft", Engineering Center, NGDU "Elkhovneft" and Bugulma Mechanical Plant received the largest number of awards.
