Tatneft' imeni V D Shashina : TATNEFT Took Part in the Salon "Archimedes-2014"

TATNEFT took part in the XVII-th Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovation Technologies "Archimedes - 2014". The engineering developments and inventions of the Company received 34 awards: 8 gold, 17 silver and 9 bronze medals. 
Gold medals of the international contest were awarded to:
- two technologies of NGDU "Nurlatneft": "Oil deposit developing method" and "Bottom zone treatment method of the dual wellhead production well";
- two engineering developments of the Bugulma Mechanical Plant of JSC TATNEFT: "Method of metal pipe bending" and "Method of manufacturing an eccentric crossover between the pipes".
Gold medals were also presented for the following technologies: "Method of operating wells with dual working agent injection" (NGDU "Almetyevneft"), "Method for prospecting and exploration of a hose type deposit" (NGDU "Elkhovneft"), "Method for prospecting and exploration of a hydrocarbon deposit" (TGRU of JSC "TATNEFT), "Technology of increasing oil recovery from reservoirs by injecting microgel polymer systems with surfactants" (TatNIPIneft).
Silver medals were awarded to:
- Three engineering developments of NGDU "Almetyevneft": "Method of well construction", "Apparatus for downhole separation of water mixture" and "Method of well operation"; 
- Two works of NGDU "Aznakaevskneft": "Pipeline liquid sampling tool" and "Method of wellbore navigation through unstable clay rocks";
- three engineering developments of TatNIPIneft: "FracTreatmentSchedule (injection plan in case of formation hydraulic fracturing)", "Technique and technology of casing slot liner setting in horizontal wellbores of Ashalchinskoye extra-viscous oil field" and "Technology of increasing oil reservoirs depletion with application of silicate gel based compositions (SSG-VUKSZHS technology)".
- three works of JSC TATNEFT's Engineering Center: "Method of protecting pressure pipelines from internal corrosion", "Well survey method" and "Transportation method of high water-cut products of oil field wells."
- two engineering developments of NGDU "Nurlatneft": "Gas filter" and "Device for measuring oil well flow rate". 
Silver medals were also presented for the following inventions: "Tubing anchor for electric centrifugal pump" (NGDU "Jalilneft"), "Method of determining oil-saturated reservoirs" (NGDU "Elkhovneft"), "Oily materials processing installation" (NGDU "Yamashneft"), "Passive adsorption based method to search for hydrocarbon deposits" (TGRU of JSC TATNEFT).
Bronze medals were awarded for the following two engineering developments of TatNIPIneft: "Technology of controlled highly permeable formation water flooding with application of the composite system based on the cellulose-polymer complex (CPC technology)" and "Technology of repair and insulation works with application of vinyl polymers".
Bronze medals were also presented for the following inventions: "Well perforation method" (NGDU "Almetyevneft"), "Heat exchanger" (NGDU "Jalilneft"), "Oil deposit development method  with application of thermal flooding" (NGDU "Elkhovneft"), "Diagnostics  method of downhole sucker rod pumping unit  operation" (NGDU "Leninogorskneft"), "Method of determining the liquid level in the high temperature well producing extra-viscous oil" (NGDU "Nurlatneft"),"Development of oil fields with isolation of productive layers' water saturated zones by cutting the production casing and setting a cement bridge" (NGDU "Prikamneft"), "Method of the well operation using an electric pump  with variable frequency drive" (Engineering Center of JSC "TATNEFT).
The Company's engineering developments presented were highly commended by the international jury of the Salon and numerous visitors of the exhibition.
For active work on the development of invention and rationalization in the Republic of Tatarstan TATNEFT Company was awarded the Regions' Cup and Diploma of respect and gratitude for active participation in the organization and holding of the Salon.

The "Archimedes" Salon of Inventions and Innovation Technologies is the largest and the most important exhibition of innovations in Russia, which allows demonstrating real achievements in the area of invention and rationalization. Every year it is attended by domestic manufacturers of innovative products, as well as representatives of national inventor communities and those from the CIS and other foreign countries.
The Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovation Technologies "Archimedes" is supported by the President Administration of the Russian Federation, the Government of Moscow and the World Intellectual Property Organization. TATNEFT has participated in the Salon "Archimedes" since 2001 and many of the Company's engineering developments are highly appraised every year.
Representatives of 17 countries: UK, Taiwan, Malaysia, Korea, Ecuador, Iran, Serbia, Croatia, Romania, Qatar, Bahrain, Kazakhstan, Poland, Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Georgia. Salon participants submitted more than 750 projects from various areas of science and technology.
