Mikhail Shvetsov, Director of Bugulma Mechanical Plant of PJSC TATNEFT, was awarded a laureate title and a commemorative medal as a result of the All-Russian contest 'Russian Quality Leader'.

The contest has been held by the All-Russia Organization for Quality since 2003 in order to promote the activities of the heads of enterprises having attained great achievements in products manufacturing and provision of high quality services.

The main requirements for the contest's participants include continuous improvement of the organization's economic performance on the basis of production and delivery of high quality products and services; development and implementation of the quality policy and setting strategic and operational objectives for quality implied by the policy mentioned, successful functioning of the quality management system based on the involvement of all the organization's personnel in the activities aimed at improving products' quality and management; establishing and maintaining contacts with all the parties concerned.

The contest winner title has been received on the basis of recommendations of the experts of the Expert Programs Center (EPC), opinions of regional administrations, consumer societies, scientific and technical community and other stakeholders, as well as the results of economic and industrial performance of the company. The assessment criteria included manufactured products' quality, state of developing and implementing the policy in the area of solutions' quality stemming from the policy's strategic and operational objectives, as well as ensuring the continuous development of the plant's quality management system.
