A representative of TATNEFT won the first prize in the IInd National Championship of blue-collar jobs of the high-tech branches of industry WorldSkills Hi-Tech-2015.

Elena Sahibgaraeva, chemical analysis laboratory technician of JSC TANECO, got the prestigious victory.

WorldSkills is an international non-profit movement, which aims to increase the prestige of blue-collar jobs and develop vocational education through harmonization of the best practices and professional standards.

The contest held in Yekaterinburg brought together more than 220 participants of the largest Russian companies, as well as the students of higher and secondary educational institutions. There were young workers of 24 specialties competing at the site of the Competition. The employee of TANECO had to compete with 17 serious rivals in the competence of the 'Laboratory chemical analysis'. The participants under the age of 28 represented such companies as 'Rosneft', 'Gazprom Neft', 'Lukoil', 'Bashneft', 'Norilsk Nickel' and others.

It was for the first time that the 'Laboratory chemical analysis' competence had been added to the Hi-Tech championship format in 2015.

More than five years experience helped Elena Sahibgaraeva to successfully cope with the tasks of the Competition. After graduating from the Nizhnekamsk petrochemical college in 2010, she started working for a quality control lab of the central laboratory of the Nizhnekamsk Refining and Petrochemical Complex. While working she studied at the Kazan Technological University.
