Young workers of OJSC 'Surgutneftegas' visited PJSC TATNEFT.

An extensive five-day program included visits to production and social facilities of PJSC TATNEFT. The main objective of the visits was to study the Company's youth policy: a cluster system of staff training, interaction between enterprises and higher education institutions of the Republic. Siberian oil workers visited educational institutions of the PJSC TATNEFT's petroleum education cluster: Almetyevsk State Petroleum Institute, Almetyevsk Polytechnic College and a non-governmental educational institution 'Tatneft Personnel Training Center'. They got familiarized with the IT-technologies, laboratories equipped with working models of wells, as well as stands for the development of skills to work with the latest equipment, etc.

A visit to Nizhnekamsk sector of TATNEFT began with Nizhnekamsk SSC Tire Factory, where the delegations was demonstrated the factory's manufacturing capacity, main stages and processes of manufacturing solid steel cord tires. The guests got acquainted with the advantages of a new design KAMA tires and retreading possibilities of the solid steel cord truck tires. Young workers of OJSC 'Surgutneftegas' were able to estimate the current level of tire manufacturing equipment, automation, introduction of advanced technologies and application of lean manufacturing tools.

The participants of the event were presented the exposition of the PJSC TATNEFT's petrochemical complex with a wide range of SSC KAMA brand tires as well as products manufactured under the off-take system for the European company, including a premium brand.

Familiarization with the TANECO Refining and Petrochemical Plants Complex included a visit to the central control room, where they demonstrated the automated process control system to the delegation. There was also a roundtable discussion held with youth activists of TANECO.

In the program framework, the oilmen from Surgut took part in the youth research and practical Conference, visited the Company's corporate Museum and the Museum of oil in Shugurovo where the Shugurovskoe bitumen field originated from in 1943 announcing the availability of commercial oil in Tatarstan. In addition, there were excursions organized for them to the Geological Museum n.a. A.A. Shtukenberg, and to the State Historical and Architectural Memorial Estate 'Kazan Kremlin'.
