Tatneft' : Annual General Meeting of PJSC "Nizhnekamskshina" Shareholders

An annual general meeting of PJSC 'Nizhnekamskshina' shareholders was held in Nizhnekamsk (Republic of Tatarstan).

The event was attended by Rinat Sabirov, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Anvar Vakhitov, Director of 'Tatneft-Neftekhim' Management Company, Elvira Dolotkazina, Deputy Head of the Nizhnekamsk municipal area, and Nikolay Zelenov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of PJSC 'Nizhnekamskshina', Radiy Burganov, Executive Director of PJSC 'Nizhnekaskshina'.

A report on the results of the Company's operations in 2016 was presented to the audience by Aidar Belyaev, Chief Engineer of PJSC 'Nizhnekamskshina'. In the reporting year, PJSC 'Nizhnekamskshina' produced 8 million 771 thousand 420 tires: passenger cars - 7,154,155,356 pieces, light truckloads - 1 million 516 thousand 811 tires, agricultural - 76 thousand 715 tires; industrial type - 23 thousand 538 tires.

Modernization and automation of production processes were continuing, the products quality was improving, lean production tools were actively applied. The modern line for winding the bead ring of Vipo company was put into operation, a robotized line for the filling cord application had been installed, a large-scale project on reconstruction of the preparatory shop was still underway within which three lines for the production of rubber compounds for the production of Viatti tires were being installed. A meeting all modern requirements GTO stadium was built at the 'Chaika' health improvement camp.

The main consumers of the PJSC Nizhnekamskshina's tire products in the primary market are the largest domestic and foreign automotive equipment manufacturers, such as AVTOVAZ, KAMAZ, UK GAZ Group, Volkswagen Group Rus, Ford Sollers Holding, RENAULT- NISSAN. At the end of 2016, the factory produced and shipped more than 900 thousand tires for the initial assembly.

The products of Nizhnekamskshina are in popular in Greece, India, Kenya, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Peru and Ethiopia.

The tires quality is confirmed by victories in prestigious contests. So, in 2016 tires of sizes 195/75R16C NK-131 and 205/55R16 V-130 became laureates of the republican contest 'Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan' in the nomination ' technical and industrial goods'.

The past year witnessed the start of manufacturing 28 standard tire sizes. In periocular, the company's product portfolio today includes: Premium Viatti segment - 153 standard sizes, KAMA EURO - 37 standard sizes, KAMA - 54 sizes.

The work was also started in 2016 on a new prototype program for new tire lines (V-238, V-135, etc.).

The enterprise successfully passed an audit of the environmental management system. Based on the results of the work carried out in the field of environment and nature protection activities, PJSC 'Nizhnekamskshina' was recognized as the winner of the contest 'Leader of Environmental Activities in Russia'. This award confirms the status of an environmentally responsible enterprise. The company spent more than RUB 136 million to implement measures aimed at protecting the environment in 2016.

Particular attention was paid to ensuring social well-being, decent standard of living for workers, as well as development of the environment for their professional growth.

During the meeting, the shareholders elected the Board of Directors, which composition included Anvar Vakhitov, Director of OOO 'Tatneft-Neftekhim' Management Company; Ilgizar Yakushev, Deputy General Director of JSC Tatneftekhiminvest Holding; Gyuzel Khabutdinova, First Deputy Director for Economics and Finance of OOO 'Tatneft-Neftekhim' Management Company; Radiy Burganov, Executive Director of PJSC 'Nizhnekamskshina'; Ildar Gizdatullin, Executive Director of JSC 'Nizhnekamsk Mechanical Plant', Alexey Petrov, Deputy Director of OOO 'Tatneft-Neftekhim' Management Company for Strategic Development, Aidar Belyayev, Chief Engineer of PJSC 'Nizhnekamskshina', Irek Khafizov. Rinat Sabirov, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, was appointed to the PJSC 'Nizhnekamskshina' Board of Directors based on the Golden Share owned by the Government.

The General Meeting of the Shareholders approved the Public Joint Stock Company's annual report and annual financial statements, as well as the report on the financial results of PJSC 'Nizhnekamskshina'. The meeting elected the members of the Audit Commission. ZAO 'PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit' (Moscow) was approved as an external auditor of PJSC 'Nizhnekamskshina').

Radiy Burganov was elected as Chairman at the first meeting of the Company's Board of Directors, held after the Shareholders' General Meeting.
