Tatneft' : Delegation from the Altai Territory Visited TATNEFT

The delegation of the Altai Territory visited TATNEFT Company in the framework of the working visit.

The delegation included Nikolai Chinyakov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Altai Territory, Minister of Economic Development of the Altai Territory; Alexei Erokhin, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Altai Territory, Head of the Innovative and Cluster Policy Department; heads of enterprises of the Altai Territory and other responsible persons.

As part of the program, there was a meeting held between the Altai Territory representatives and the management of TATNEFT headed by Nail Maganov, General Director of the Company, where the participants discussed the prospects for implementing joint projects. A presentation was offered to the event participants on the Company's logistics activities, as well as the information on the operation of the TATNEFT's electronic trading and purchasing platform

Familiarizing with the Company' crude oil production and treatment processes the Altai delegation visited production facilities of NGDU Almetyevneft. Also during the first day of the visit, there were meetings arranged with the heads of core business areas of the TATNEFT Group of Companies.

A visit to the Nizhnekamsk business sector of TATNEFT Company started with visiting the TANECO Refining and Petrochemical plants Complex, acquaintance with the history and prospects of the project development and the products output. As of today, the refinery operates demonstrating record performance for the depth of processing, the output of light petroleum products and the loading of primary oil refining capacities. The plans provide that the coming months will witness the start of producing motor gasolines of the Euro-5 ecological class. In addition, the construction of the second ELOU-AVT-6 unit for primary oil refining is the completion stage. This will allow increasing the annual oil refining volume of the TANECO Complex to 14 million tonnes.

In the course of the meeting, there were specific proposals for cooperation made on the part of the delegation of the Altai Territory and the representatives of the JSC TANECO.

The operation of OOO Tatneft-Nizhnekamskneftekhim-Oil was also presented to the guests. These are the production works of a complete technological cycle, from making basic synthetic polyalphaolefin oils (PAOM) to the production of lubricants for various purposes.

During the visit to Nizhnekamsk CHP, the delegation got acquainted with the peculiarities of the station revamping financed by TATNEFT Company. The performed works allowed Increasing the installed electric power of the CHP from 380 to 730 megawatts. Today the Nizhnekamsk power engineers are closely involved in the second stage of modernization, connected with the partial transition of the station to coke.

The event participants visited the Nizhnekamsk SSC Tire Factory at the tire-manufacturing complex TATNEFT, which produces solid-steel cord tires of a new generation. At the enterprise they demonstrated to the fully automated processes of weighing ingredients and rubber mixing, rubberizing the metal cord, outputting tire parts and their components, as well as final assembly, performed on high-precision equipment with minimal involvement of operators. The delegation was particularly interested in the processes of tire vulcanization, tires 'cooking' and extracting them from the mold.

The touring through the SSC Tire Factory completed at the quality inspection section, where the guests observed the tire examination process with application of X-ray equipment.

The participants also, visited the 'Tatneft-Presskompozit' and 'P-D Tatneft Alabuga Steklovolokno' factories.

Relations between the TATNEFT Company and the Government of the Altai Territory are developing within the framework of the agreement signed in November, which provided for cooperation in the economic, scientific, technological, production and innovation spheres.
