Tatneft' : Enterprises of TATNEFT Became Winners of the Government Awards for Quality

TATNEFT Company's Enterprises: Bugulma Mechanical Plant, 'Personnel Training Center - Tatneft' and 'Tatneft-AZS Center' became winners of the XIIth Republican contest for the RT Government's quality award.

The awards presentation ceremony, held at the House of Tatarstan Government, was attended by Ildar Khalikov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Albert Karimov, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic, Maxim Protasov, Head of the NPO 'Russian quality system', winners and diploma holders of the Republican contest.

The Bugulma Mechanical Plant of PJSC TATNEFT was awarded the contest's prize in the category 'Business Excellence' in the production of industrial purpose products and (or) consumer goods.

The private educational institution ChOU DPO 'TcPK-Tatneft' received the award in the category of enterprises with the employees numbering below 250 persons working in the service rendering sector.

OOO 'Tatneft-AZS Center' was honored with the award in the new category 'Production Systems' (dealing with lean production activities).

According to Ildar Khalikov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, understanding of the importance of goods and services quality is every year increasing at the enterprises of Tatarstan. The initiative of the contest holding, which was put forward in 2002 by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan at that time and now President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, was not only maintained, but also developed into a partnership with the autonomous non-profit organization 'Roskachestvo', which is the first and the only national system of the quality evaluation in Russia established by the state.

64 organizations had submitted applications for participation in this year's contest. The greatest interest was demonstrated by enterprises and organizations of Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevsk, Zelenodolsk, Leninogorsk. The most active were representatives of the mechanical engineering and petrochemicals production industries, as well as health care, construction and educational organizations.
