Tatneft' : Figures Demonstrating Results of Operations during March and Tree Months of 2017

Crude Oil Production

Enterprises of the TATNEFT Croup of Companies produced 7 million 215 thousand 964 tonnes of crude oil in three months of 2017 which was 283,640 tonnes more than the amount produced during the same period of the previous year (104.1 percent) with the Company's production volume

The production of PJSC TATNEFT amounted to 7 million 125 thousand 174 tonnes of crude oil (+278,646 thousand tonnes (104.1 percent to the level of 2016) with the Company's subsidiaries accounting for 90,790 tonnes (+ 4,994 tonnes: 105.8 percent) produced in the licensed areas outside the Republic of Tatarstan.

The production volume of high-viscosity oil amounted to 332,689 tones (+213,308 tonnes versus 2016, 277 percent), the plan was overfulfilled by 13,775 tonnes (104.3 percent).

New Drilling

182 new wells were built and delivered to customers during the first quarter of 2017, which was 21 percent above the figure for the same period of 2016 (151 wells in 2016) with the production wells number amounting to 178 wells (145 infill wells) and exploratory drilling accounting for 3 wells and drilling to bitumen - 1 well.

Active Well Stock Drilling

There were 16 sidetracks and horizontal wellbores delivered during three months in 2017.

Drilling of wells for PJSC TATNEFT in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the Republic of Kalmykia

Construction and testing of all 5 planned for drilling well was completed in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

Drilling of well No. 1 at the Barrieryaya Area is in the process of completion in the Republic of Kalmykia. 5,800 m had been penetrated according to the plan.

Drilling of well No. 370 is In the Orenburg region is underway. Currently, the work ihas been suspended due to the spring flood.

Repair of Wells

During three months of 2017 the remedial well servicing and workover crews performed servicing in 2,076 wells at the sites of PJSC TATNEFT (940 wells in March), while workover operations were performed in 612 wells (241 wells in March).

There were 13 wells repaired for OOO 'Tatneft-Samara' and 4 wells for OOO 'Tatneft-Severny' outside the Republic of Tatarstan.

Formation hydrocracking operations were carried out in 193 wells (73 wells in March).

Oil recovery enhancement operations were performed in 578 wells (230 wells in March), including chemical methods applied in 302 wells (107 wells in March).

Production Performance of JSC TANECO

The TANECO Complex of Refining and Petrochemical Plants processed 829,5 thousand tonnes of raw materials in March 2017 and 2355.2 thousand tonnes since the beginning of the year, including 739.7 thousand tonnes of petroleum feedstock processed in March and 2163.1 thousand tonnes of petroleum feedstock processed since the beginning of the year.

The Complex yielded 785.3 thousand tonnes of petroleum products in March 2017 and 2,228,8 thousand tonnes since the beginning of the year.
