Tatneft' : New Product Was Released at the "Tatneft-Nizhnekamskneftekhim-Oil" Factory

'Tatneft-Nizhnekamskneftekhim-Oil' produced the first-off production batches of polyalphaolefinic bases of synthetic oils (PAOM-2, PAOM-4, PAOM-6, PAOM-12).

To date, all the key and auxiliary blocks for the production of oligomers of Decene-1, intended for the preparation of polyalphaolefinic bases of synthetic oils, have been put into the design stable mode of operation. This is the first and the only enterprise in Russia that has started the production of basic synthetic polyalphaolefin oils. The new products are manufactured on the basis of the domestic technology developed by the Institute of Chemical Physics Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The synthetic polyalphaolefinic oils allow producing motor, aviation, transmission, hydraulic, industrial and special synthetic and semi-synthetic oils. PAOM are the environmentally friendly product, they do not contain carcinogenic substances, sulfur and chlorine.

The synthetic oils have exceptional operational properties and characteristics that meet the requirements of both civil and military equipment.

The following parameters of the polyalphaolefine based motor synthetic oils should be mentioned among the product advantages:

- excellent performance in extreme weather conditions: low pour point provides for high oil pumpability, easy engine start at minus temperatures, which allows using the oils in the Far North regions;

- the thermal oxidative stability reduces the oil oxidation at high temperatures in the engine, reduces formation of deposits;

- low volatility reduces the frequency of refilling;

- oil long service under severe operating conditions (extending the service life by 1.5-2 times compared to mineral oils);

- compatibility with mineral oils and ethers.

The expansion of the assortment will allow 'Tatneft-Nizhnekamskneftekhim-Oil' providing high-quality products to the consumers and strengthening the Company's position among Russian lubricant manufacturers.
