The Bugulma Mechanical Plant (BMZ) of PJSC TATNEFT manufactured a fixed head heat exchanger for the TANECO Oil Refining and Petrochemical Plants Complex.

Condenser 2200TNG-0.6-M11/25G-6-T8-UKHL1-I has been developed by a team of professionals of the BMZ design and technological service for the TANECO Oil Refining and Petrochemical Plants Complex. The vessel is designed to condense vapors (decomposition gases) by chilled circulating water and it is a fixed head heat exchanger consisting of horizontal shell with elliptical bottoms equipped with a tube bundle, distribution chambers, process fittings and saddle type supports. The condenser operation principle is to cool the vapor gas/condensate entering the annulus with chilled circulating water of the tube side.

The specified design stage parameters have resulted in the following features of the vessel design: the device internal diameter is 2200 mm, weight is about 44.5 tons and the heat exchange surface amounts to 1461 m². Furthermore, the condenser has been mainly fabricated of heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant metal.

The BMZ manufactures both standard heat exchangers on the basis of data sheet specifications and custom upgraded ones under special technical projects. Depending on the type and material of construction these machines are capable of withstanding temperatures from minus 70 to plus 6000C and conventional pressure from 0.6 to 16 MPa. The shell diameter ranges from 57 to 3000 mm with the heat exchange surface varying from 0.11 to 8550 sq.m.
