Tatneft' : Research and Practice Conference of Young Workers Was Held at TATNEFT

The XVIth research and practice conference of the Company's young employees, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the NGDU 'Bavlyneft' was held at PJSC TATNEFT.

The conference was attended by over 300 delegates from the structural divisions and subsidiaries of PJSC TATNEFT, management companies, educational institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Russian Fuel and Energy Complex companies.

Opening the event, Nail Ibragimov, First Deputy General Director for Production - Chief Engineer of PJSC TATNEFT, pointed out that over the years the Oil and Gas Production Division 'Bavlyneft' had accumulated vast experience in oil fields development. It was here, that for the first time in the industry they implemented such technologies as perimeter flooding, remote control of wells, oil dehydration and desalting as well as hydraulic fracturing. The team of the division had made an enormous contribution to the development of the Tatarstan oil schools and shaping of the up-to-date technical policy of TATNEFT.

The Company's Chief Engineer emphasized in his speech that currently TATNEFT had started implementation of a new long-term strategy focused on sustainable organic growth, strengthening its leading position as a vertically-integrated holding company, doubling the Company's market value. And a big role in solving the challenges is assigned to creative, originally thinking and initiative young people.

According to Nail Ibragimov, the young people are actively involved in the process of improving the Company's production system with application of lean production tools and techniques of operation and project and process management.

Modern and effective systems for personal growth and career development are applied at the Joint Stock Company. Ample opportunities for the expansion of competencies are provided by the Corporate University opened by the Company.

In conclusion Nail Ibragimov encouraged the young people to solving production problems faced by the Company and wished successful implementation of professional and creative ideas.

In the plenary part of the event the speeches were also made by Ramil Gatiyatullin, Head of the Bavly Municipal District, Azat Khabibrakhmanov, Head of NGDU 'Bavlyneft', Andrei Glazkov, Head of the PJSC TATNEFT's Corporate University, Rifdar Khamadyarov, Head of the Company's Human Resources Office, and Dmitry Grabovetsky, Chairman of the Central Council of the TATNEFT's Young Professionals.

The program of the conference also included presentation of awards to the winners of the scientific works contest, organized by PJSC TATNEFT among the students and postgraduates of the Russian Federation's leading oil institutes.

The delegates of the conference also participated in the debates on the instruments and mechanisms of organizational changes in the Company.

The Youth Scientific and Technical Conference held at PJSC TATNEFT once again demonstrated the young professionals' role in the scientific and technological progress and helped in identification of talented young people. 353 scientific works had been selected from 937 ones claimed for participation in the Forum in 2016. The most worthy of the proposals will be included in the register of the Company's best practices.

This year, the expert committees of the conference also included the representatives of the higher-education teaching staff of the universities and research institutes of Russia.

The conference results will be determined based on the overall rankings of the youth organizations of the Company instead of the team rating.

The training for the development of personal competencies is organized for the winners of the sections on the basis of the Corporate University.

The authors of the best works in each section received certificates for the joint with the Company's top management training in the Corporate University.
