Tatneft' : Skolkovo Petroleum Challenge 2016 Contest Results Were Summed Up

TATNEFT determined the winners of the 'Skolkovo Petroleum Challenge 2016' contest established by the Company in the category 'Innovative technologies in crude oil production'.

The first place was awarded to OOO 'Nest Lab' Company for the project 'Nest Lab - robotic based development of oil fields'.

The second place went to OOO 'Petroleum Technology' Company for the project 'Multiphase DIP Flow Meter'.

The third place was awarded to 'PETROBOOST' company for the project 'PetroBOOST project - hydrogen based complex thermal-gas-chemical producing formation treatment technology'.

The contest finals were held at the 'Skolkovo' Innovation Foundation within the 'Skolkovo Petroleum conference'.

The specialists of the Company's Central Executive Office Staff, Engineering Center, TatNIPIneft and other divisions of the Company were included in the jury, which reviewed 94 submitted projects with 43 of them selected. In addition, the jury made selection among the projects that were not awarded the prizes, but had the potential of solving technological challenges of the Company and were recommended for consideration at the Scientific and Technical Council (NTS).

The winners received cash prizes and an invitation to the Scientific and Technical Council of the Company, where they would present their projects and apply for support of TATNEFT in the implementation of their projects.

The two winners in the category 'Innovative technologies in oil production' also won prizes in the general 'Skolkovo Petroleum Challenge 2016' contest.
