Results of the scientific works contest among students and post-graduates of the leading oil universities of the Russian Federation announced by TATNEFT Company were summed up. The contest was organized to mobilize the creative potential of students in higher education institutions to solve technical, technological and economic issues in the area of crude oil production. In total, the expert commission examined 40 works from 7 universities.

Anastasia Sitalo, with the work 'Glycol ether based synergistic mixtures on as effective and economical antiknock additives to motor fuels', and Gulshat Bekmuhametova with the work 'Bitumen emulsion Composition' representatives of the Kazan National Research Technological University, took the prizes in the section 'Refining and selling oil, gas and petrochemicals'.

In the section 'Geology and Geophysics of Oil and Gas Deposits', the work 'Lithological study of the Domanik deposits well at the Berezovskaya area of ​​the Romashkinskoye field' by Evgeniya Dmitrieva, student of the Kazan (Privolzhsky) Federal University was recognized as the best.

Nailya Nugumanova with 'Surfactant based ecological safe scale inhibitors' and Zukhra Zakirova with the work 'In-situ catalytic oxidation of a super-viscous organic substance', both students of KNITU, took first places and the prizes in the section 'Crude Oil Production and Well Studies'.

The best works in the section 'Development of oil and gas fields' were presented by Arseniy Yegorov 'Mathematical modeling of the reservoir filtration and capacitance properties change in case of injecting a chemically active substance' (Russian State University of Oil and Gas) and Damir Shaikhutdinov 'Improvement of the high viscosity oil deposits development With application of steam thermal methods using gel-forming compositions' (Almetyevsk State Petroleum Institute).

In the section 'Wells Drilling' the prize was won by the work of Albert Zalyatdinov (AGNI) on the subject 'Investigation of the method of controlling the wellbore trajectory while drilling with reaming concurrently'.

The work of Mukhammadamin Nabiyev (KNITU) on the topic 'High-temperature corrosion inhibitor for hydrochloric acid compounds' was recognized as the best in the section 'Remedial Servicing and the Well's Workover'.

In the section 'Industrial, Environmental Safety and Labor Protection', the works of Svetlana Prokhorova ('Removing the oil film from the surface of water with a modified leaf drop') and Aliya Shaydullina ('Cleaning oily waters with cereal waste') were recognized as the best.

Maria Frolova (Almetyevsk State Petroleum Institute, the topic of work - 'Improving the efficiency of the investment portfolio for drilling') took the prizes in the section 'Economics'.

The presentation of the best scientific works took place within the framework of the traditional summit of the republican oil companies' management with the participation of Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan. Winners of the contest received cash prizes.
