The annual traditional summit of the republican oil companies management will be held on July 12 with participation of Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The delegation of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation headed by the Pavel Sorokin, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, top management and professionals of TATNEFT Company took part in the oil forum led by Nail Maganov, the Company's General Director, Shafagat Takhautdinov, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on the oil industry issues, heads of petrochemical, oil refining, service and independent oil companies of the Republic, related businesses, regional offices of federal departments, heads of cities and districts of the RT oil region, officials of the Presidential Office and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Before the beginning of the event, the participants visited the exhibition of advanced technologies, where PJSC TATNEFT, Bugulma Mechanical Plant of TATNEFT, JSC RITEK, PJSC Kvart, CJSC Neftekh, ELKAM Company, TatProm-Holding, TAPART and NPF 'Packer', Kazan (Privolzhsky) Federal University displayed their engineering developments.

At the exhibition within the framework of poster reports TATNEFT demonstrated the results of the introducing digital technologies in the key areas of the Company's activities. For example the Company presented in the Geological Exploration block features of digital core modeling, and studies carried out by TATNEFT through TatNIPIneft in this area. The presentation within the 'Drilling' block introduced innovative drainage technologies and processing of the formation distant sections data by creating small diameter and radius channels. The 'Exploration and Production' block presented an integrated approach to engineering the design of field development, while the refining sector demonstrate the digital 'twin' of the TANECO NPiNKHZ Complex. The Company presented the Almetyevsk State Petroleum Institute as the higher education oil school in the block 'Training of Young Professionals'.

The plenary meeting of the Oil Summit was held in the format of a panel discussion this year and was devoted to the subject of human capital as a basis for the technological breakthrough in the oil and gas complex of the Republic of Tatarstan. Nail Maganov, General Director of TATNEFT, performed as he the moderator of the discussion. The speakers at the discussion included Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Pavel Sorokin, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, Shafagat Takhautdinov, Assistant to President of the Republic of Tatarstan on the oil industry issues, Airat Khayrullin, Head of the Almetyevsk Municipal District, Fanis Valiyev, General Director of CJSC Neftekonsortsium, Rashad Fatkullin, senior researcher of TatNIPIneft Research and Design Institute of Oil of PJSC TATNEFT, member of the youth council at the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation; Aigul Shadrina, Manager of Department for Interaction with Automakers, OOO 'LLK-International'

Nail Maganov presented to the participants of the discussion a report on 'Investing in human capital of the TATNEFT Group.'

General Director of TATNEFT emphasized that the complex multilevel structure of the vertical-integrated oil company, which incorporated about 150 enterprises, required highly effective corporate governance, talented managers and a professional, cohesive team. Particular attention is paid to investments in human capital. The team of the TATNEFT Group consists of more than 50 thousand employees, united by shared corporate values ​​and goals. The Company considers the employees as high efficiency investments for the future. Therefore, the Company implements a number of large-scale programs and projects that affect the motivation of employees to improve their own performance, development of professional and managerial competencies, as well as the available potential. This is a basis for the formation and development of personnel management tools at the TATNEFT Group.

The panel session participants discussed topical issues of the Company's development in this area. In particular, competencies that need to be developed to address the technological challenges facing the industry; state support programs for the development of talented young people in the oil and gas sector; specifics of forming the teamwork interaction; major motivational incentives for young people, etc.

At the end of the oil summit, its key participants attended the opening ceremony of the 5th Republican open field Olympiad of young geologists of the Republic of Tatarstan, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Tatarstan oil development, which took place at the TATNEFT Company's 'Druzhba (Friendship)' recreation camp for children.
