Tatneft' : TatNIPIneft Staff Conference

A meeting of the labor collective was held at TatNIPIneft, which considered the results of the Institute's activities in 2017.

The report on the results of scientific and production activities of the Institute for the past year and the tasks for the future was presented to the audience by Rifkhat Sakhabutdinov, Director of the Institute.

TatNIPIneft is a structural division of TATNEFT Company and it is one of the largest research centers of the oil industry. All planned scientific research, as well as design and survey works of the Institute were carried out in full volume in 2017.

In addition to the works executed for TATNEFT in connection with activities in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Institute carried out the orders related to projects in Western Siberia and other regions of Russia, as well as abroad.

Employees of the Institute took part in the implementation of more than 50 projects aimed at solving technological challenges facing PJSC TATNEFT.

The Institute participated in 4 projects with the State subsidies under the Federal Target Program.

They carried out systematic work at TatNIPIneft to build up the TATNEFT Company's intellectual property. In 2017, the Institute sent 64 applications to the State-Financed Entity 'Federal Institute of Industrial Property' for patents for inventions and 3 applications granting utility model patents, as well as 29 applications for the state registration of computer programs.

The Institute received 106 patents and certificates of the Russian Federation with 91 of them representing RF patents for inventions, 1 patent of the Russian Federation for the utility model, 14 certificates of the Russian Federation on the State registration of computer programs.

During 2017, the Institute published one monograph and a collection of scientific works of TatNIPIneft (Issue No. 85). The total number of scientific articles published in the industry journals and collections amounted to 230.

During the reporting period, the Dissertation Defense Board at TatNIPIneft arranged the defense of eight dissertations, including two doctoral dissertations and six candidate dissertations. Three dissertations (one doctoral and two Ph.D. thesis) were defended by the employees of TatNIPIneft Institute.

The main task of the Institute's staff for 2018 is to ensure that PJSC TATNEFT shall have quality oil fields development projects and development of efficient technologies and technical means for crude oil production.
