TATNEFT Company won in the open tender of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation to select organizations for the right to receive subsidies for the implementation of complex projects to create high-tech production facilities.

TATNEFT presented a project for the contest, on the development and creation of a solvent technology for upgrading heavy crude oil. Currently, the project is being implemented jointly with the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology with the participation of the Institute of Geochemistry and Analytical Chemistry n.a. V.I. Vernadsky of the Russian Academy of Sciences. JSC TANECO is planning a pilot plant to be built in the future within the framework of the project.

The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation is holding a contest to implement state measures to support the development of cooperation between Russian educational institutions of higher education, state scientific institutions and enterprises of the real sector of the economy, implementing projects to improve the competitiveness of domestic technologies and products.

Applications for participation were submitted by more than 200 enterprises from different regions of Russia, as the selection process resulted the selection more than 30 companies to obtain the right to subsidies from the federal budget.
