Our South East team has donated £250 to St Michael's Church of England Primary School in Tenterden to help them celebrate their book week. The school's week long celebration of literature ran from Monday 4th to Friday 8th June and aimed to encourage its pupils to pick up a book and enjoy reading.

Sara Williamson, Headteacher at St Michael's Church of England Primary School, which is located near Taylor Wimpey's Three Fields development in Tenterden, said: 'We are so grateful to Taylor Wimpey for their generous donation which will enable us to buy a range of books to excite the children and inspire them in their reading journeys. Reading for pleasure is vital for children's progress and more quality reading materials can only benefit the children of St Michael's School.'

Jason Stokes, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey South East, said: 'We are committed to giving something back to the communities in which we are building and were delighted to make a donation to St Michael's Church of England Primary School. We recognise how valuable it is for young children to enjoy reading and hope that the new books will inspire the children and fuel their imaginations.'
