Taylor Wimpey : Family build their future one brick at a time

"Our daughter Elsie is almost one so it made perfect sense to buy our first home and start our new life together. What's even more exciting is that we are able to witness the whole building process, from the first brick being laid to the last light fixture being fitted.

"It's actually pretty cool that one day we'll be able to tell Elsie that her mummy and daddy helped to build her house by laying a brick or two. Taylor Wimpey arranged for us to do that, which has been really special.

"We looked at a couple of other Taylor Wimpey developments, which gave us a flavour for the different homes, and then we decided on Stoneley Park. The floor plans look very spacious with lots of room for our daughter to play and our family to expand.

"Without Taylor Wimpey and the Help to Buy scheme, we wouldn't have been able to get on to the property ladder as deposits nowadays are so expensive.

"The help we received from Taylor Wimpey was excellent, nothing was too much to ask and we can't wait to move into our beautiful new home. Today we're laying the bricks and in a few months we'll be starting the next chapter in our family life."
