TCF Bank and The Rainbow Connection have partnered to make dreams come true for two children with life-threatening illnesses in Michigan. TCF Bank is accepting financial donations at its more than 50 branches in Michigan through May 31, 2015 to help DJ and Emma take their dream trips with their families.

DJ is a seven-year-old boy from Macomb who battles Leukemia. He dreams of going to Disney World to meet his favorite character, Spider-Man.

Emma is a 16-year-old from Harrison Township who dreams of swimming in Hawaii with her family. Emma is battling brain cancer.

“We are grateful to have raised $32,000 to fulfill dreams last year, and our goal is to raise even more money this year,” said Lou Campos, Michigan Director of Branch Banking at TCF Bank. “Children fighting life-threatening illnesses and their families have experienced the unimaginable. The least we can do is help them have fun and live life to the fullest by making their dreams come true.”

“We are grateful to TCF Bank for bringing smiles to the faces of these brave kids,” said Mary Grace McCarter, Executive Director at The Rainbow Connection. “The donations from TCF Bank’s customers and employees will have an immediate and positive impact on the lives of children and their families throughout Michigan.”
