Chilling for digital printing with the Omega and smart.chiller products will be one of the key issues in the spotlight on technotrans stand (B41) at PrintWeekLive! The other key theme will be the peripherals company's ability to provide ink pumping systems for offset technology whether it is running conventional, UV, LED-UV or LE-UV inks.

'This show brings together suppliers, trade printers and direct printers under one roof, which means both our OEM partners and customers who retrofit our kit to improve their overall quality and output,' says Peter Benton, managing director. 'Digital and the new UV offset options both bring advantages in turnround because work comes off the end of the press dry and ready for onward processing. These are technologies which are turning heads and we have the equipment to enhance their efficiency and output.'

Cooling - It's Child's Play a technotrans' banner will tell visitors - well it is for a company with the length and depth of experience of this market leader in peripherals. technotrans is happy to offer advice on pressroom efficiency, set up a pressroom audit, discuss its product portfolio (cooling, inking, filtration, water treatment) or its popular maintenance, service and warranty schemes.

'We believe our success is based on a combination of right products backed up by a great UK service team which provides installation planning, post-installation technical support by phone and on-site visits, as well as pro-active maintenance packages,' says Mr Benton.

The omega chiller is a heavy duty chiller for digital equipment including HP Indigo devices and the smart.chiller is a more compact unit ideal for entry level and middle volume digital equipment.

On the pumping side, technotrans has a volume of bulk and cartridge systems in place and today it can offer solutions not only for conventional ink but also for all the UV technologies with systems that prevent polymerisation ahead of the ink getting on to the substrate.

technotrans' experts will be on hand and visitors are encouraged to visit with generic or their own company specific questions. PrintWeekLive! is at the Wasps Arena, Coventry on 8 and 9 March.
