Tokyo, Japan, May31, 2018 --- The Teijin Group announced today that it would participate in the Asia Nonwovens Exhibition and Conference (ANEX), one of the largest exhibitions for the nonwoven industry professionals, which will take place at the Tokyo Big Sight (Tokyo International Exhibition Center) from June 6 to 8.

The Teijin booth (342) will introduce wide range of materials and products for the environment, automotive, disaster-prevention and healthcare fields.

Exhibits will include:
Sound Absorbers for EV Cars
Teijin's nonwoven ultrafine-fiber fabric absorbs noise ranging from low to high frequencies. It is an excellent sound-absorbing material for engine covers due to its excellent heat resistance, moldability and lamination properties.

Elk®High-function Cushion Material
This lightweight cushion material offers diverse functionality, including high elasticity, durability and breathability, as well as safety because it generates minimal cyan gas even if burned. The booth will exhibit a new elkmaterial that combines polyester staple fiber and high-cushioning SOLOTEXstaple fiber, and various products made with elk, including cushions and mattresses.

Filtration Materials for Wastewater Treatment
Teijin Frontier will display a chip-shaped fiber-filtration material that removes solid floating matter in industrial wastewater and living drainage. This high-efficiency filter material can withstand high temperatures and eliminates fiber migration better than conventional materials due to special processing. A selection of other functional fiber-filtration materials also will be exhibited.

Various High-function Materials
The booth will additionally present a variety of ultrafine fibers, including NANOFRONT, which offers exceptional filtration efficiency. There also will be displays of fibers for newly developed air through nonwoven fabric, a special short-cut fiber for papermaking, and aramid materials for bag filters and heat-resistant filters.

ANEX is forecasting some 30,000 visitors and over 700 exhibiting companies this year. Teijin's participation is expected to help further raise its profile and continue expanding its market through new proposals towards next 10 years.
