Michael Tobin leads CEO Sleepout to raise awareness for the plight of young homeless people in the UK

TelecityGroup is supporting Action for Children's first ever CEO Sleepout, designed to increase awareness of the plight of young homeless people in the UK and raise the funds needed to support them.

The CEO Sleepout is the brainchild of TelecityGroup's CEO Michael Tobin, who has invited Britain's business leaders to take part alongside him and sleep rough for one night in London's Paternoster Square.

Action for Children, a national children's charity in the United Kingdom, works with the most vulnerable and neglected young people to help prevent youth homelessness and better equip them with the skills they need to build a future. Michael Tobin will be leading the CEO Sleepout alongside incoming Action for Children CEO, Sir Tony Hawkhead.

Michael Tobin, CEO, TelecityGroup, comments "I am proud of the incredible work Action for Children is doing and am delighted to be doing my little bit in leading the CEO Sleepout. It's important that the UK's top CEOs use their positions to highlight issues affecting our young people and help create opportunities for those who don't have the security of a family or role models in their lives, to reach their potential and fulfil their ambitions."
