TIM CEO Amos Genish held his first meeting today with the SlC-Cgil, Fistel-Cisl, Uilcom and Ugl-Telecomunicazioni unions. The meeting provided an opportunity to outline the new pillars of the company's development strategy which will be included in 2018-2020 Industrial Plan.

Amos Genish explained to the Unions that TIM is committed to become a relevant player in the new digital ecosystem, which is undergoing radical changes triggered by a significant digital transformation in every sector and in everyone's life. To enable the digital transformation TIM is committed to continue investing in innovation, but also in training and motivating its workforce, and introduce throughout the company a 'digital culture'.

An objective that will require all the people working in the company to play a significant role in the transformation of the company.

'To achieve this we need maximum cooperation between the management and the Trade Unions', said Amos Genish, TIM CEO. 'On my side there is a willingness to discuss any issue and I expect a similar attitude on the part of the Unions. We have the same goal: motivating the workforce in TIM by making the most of the existing resources while also giving opportunities to young people'.
