Following its acquisition of E-Plus, Telefónica Deutschland has around 1,750 own and partner shops. The analysis of our market presence has revealed that some of the shops are in close proximity to each other and as such do not offer additional value for customers of Telefónica in terms of service. Therefore, as already announced, Telefónica Deutschland will reduce the number of shops by a third over the next five years.
