TELEGRAAF MEDIA GROEP The Supervisory Board of Telegraaf Media Groep (TMG) has announced the appointment of Geert-Jan van der Snoek as CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of Telegraaf Media Groep N.V. with effect from 1 July 2014. (TMG). As previously announced, Mr M.A.M. Boersma, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TMG, has stepped down as delegated supervisory board member.
In order to make way for an entirely new Executive Board and in close consultation with the Supervisory Board, Fred Arp will step down as CFO of TMG with effect from 1 March 2015.
The Supervisory Board is extremely grateful to Mr Arp for his longstanding commitment and dedication to TMG during the many years that he has worked for TMG.
Michiel Boersma: "As CFO, Fred Arp has seen many changes during the past years in the media sector and at TMG. He has fulfilled an important role as CFO for TMG and has done so with full energy and commitment. Fred has a true TMG heart. He has made a substantial contribution with his dedication and professionalism".
Fred Arp: "The media sector is changing rapidly. After 17 years as CFO at TMG, it is now time for a new management to take on the challenges of the future. I am happy to step aside to make room for this change."
