JOURNEY TOWARDS CONVERGENCE FOR ENTERPRISES BEGINS AT TM BIZ FUSION 2017

Empowering Enterprise businesses through ICT innovation in the era of convergence

Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) today launched its TM Biz Fusion 2017 with the first round of the event held at the Horizon Hill Golf & Country Club, Johor Bahru, carrying the theme; 'The Journey Towards Convergence Begins Here'. Targeting Medium and Large Enterprises particularly in the manufacturing, hospitality and transportation industries, the focused engagement event is set to instil how enterprises can significantly boost their business value, impact profitability and improve efficiencies through digital transformation.

Speaking at the event, Wan Ahmad Kamal Wan Halim, Executive Vice President, Enterprise Sales, TM said, 'We are committed to bringing more innovations in our effort to fulfil the demand for converged business solutions and delivering seamless customer experience through TM's integrated business solutions. TM Biz Fusion 2017 is organised to increase the awareness and adoption of TM's end-to-end integrated solutions and service portfolio comprising our five (5) product pillars namely; Connectivity, ICT, BPO, Smart Services, Data Centre and Cloud. These solutions and services will serve as the enabler and accelerator for digital business transformation to boost business growth and assist enterprises realise its full potential.'

We are also leveraging on our mobility Centre of Excellence, webe to power machine to machine (M2M) communication in smart services offering encompassing credit card Point of Sales (POS), remote meter reading for utility services, wireless Automated Teller Machine (ATM), supervisory and data acquisition (SCADA) for remote monitoring of machines in manufacturing industry,' Wan Ahmad Kamal further added.

He continued, 'To further support the business growth of our customers, we have completed Phase 1 of our first 30,000 square feet area purpose-built Twin Core building called the Iskandar Puteri Data Centre (IPDC) in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. IPDC is an 'Uptime Institute certified Tier III DC' that is capably ready to cater businesses that are keen on leveraging TM's domestics, regional and international Point-of-Presence (POPs). We believe by being present in a strategic location between key cities of Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, we are able to offer high value end-to-end managed services that cover connectivity, cloud computing, virtualisation, workspace and collaboration services.'
