Notification of important shareholdings

Mechelen, August 25, 2014 - Telenet Group Holding NV ("Telenet" or "the Company") (Euronext Brussels: TNET) hereby discloses information in accordance with Article 14 of the Law of May 2, 2007 and the related Royal Decree of February 14, 2008:

On August 22, 2014 Telenet received a notification from Liberty Global Plc and her affiliates in accordance with article 74, §8 of the Law of April 1, 2007 on public take-overs, according to which Binan Investments B.V. declares to hold a stake in Telenet Group Holding NV that exceeds 30% of the total share capital on August 21, 2014.

This notification is an update of the notifications Telenet received on September 18, 2007, on August 28, 2008, on August 27, 2009, on August 31, 2010, on August 29, 2011, on August 28, 2012 and on August 27, 2013.
