Mechelen, February 9, 2016 - The Board of Directors of Telenet Group Holding NV (hereafter "Telenet") acknowledges that Mr Balan Nair has voluntarily submitted his resignation as director of Telenet's Board. Pursuant to section 18.4 of Telenet's articles of association, the other directors have decided to co-opt Mrs Dana Strong as the new director of Telenet with immediate effect. The next Telenet General Meeting will decide on the definitive appointment of Mrs Dana Strong.

Dana Strong, who started at the Liberty Global group in 1999, held several positions before becoming Chief Transformation Officer at Liberty Global. She was COO at Virgin Media, CEO at UPC Ireland and COO at AUSTAR Entertainment in Australia. In her current role as Chief Transformation Officer at Liberty Global, she identifies strategic and operational opportunities in collaboration with CEO Mike Fries.
