Telenor : Grameenphone to pay fine

(Fornebu, August 14, 2008) Grameenphone today issued a press release
regarding a fine the company has agreed to pay Bangladesh
Telecommunications Regulatory Commission for enabling the use of
unlicensed Voice over IP.
This fine, previously mentioned in media reports and notified in
Telenor's presentation of the quarterly results on July 23rd,
concludes the process initiated by the local authorities in 2007.
