Telford Homes : awarded its ninth consecutive RoSPA Gold Medal Award

Telford Homes has achieved its 9th consecutive Gold Medal award in the internationally-renowned annual scheme run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), in its busiest year on record with over 3.5 million hours worked (year to 31 March 2018).

Judges awarded applicants on their overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement. Competitive awards go to the best entries in 24 industry sectors including construction, healthcare, transport and logistics, engineering, manufacturing, and education.

John Fitzgerald, Group Managing Director at Telford Homes, commented: 'We are delighted that once again our occupational health and safety performance has been recognised by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) with a ninth consecutive Gold Medal award. This award is testament to the very high standard of our occupational health and safety.

The health and safety of everyone involved in our business or affected by it is a vital consideration in everything we do. Although our performance in the year has been excellent, we will continue to strive for improvement. We will ensure, as the business grows, that we continue to update our systems in place to train new staff and suppliers in our policies and procedures.
