Rimouski (Quebec) - Members of the Syndicat Québécois des employés de TELUS (SQET - the Quebec union of TELUS employees) have accepted the new collective agreement negotiated between TELUS and the SQET. Nearly 81 per cent of TELUS team members who cast their ballots at ratification meetings voted in favour of the new contract.

The new collective agreement was reached during early negotiations and will cover nearly 800 TELUS team members across Quebec. It will take effect on January 1, 2018 and expire on March 31, 2022.

'The early negotiations and positive outcome enable us to not only continue giving our customers more, but also to secure a solid future for our company while maintaining our strong position in a highly competitive market,' said François Gratton, Executive Vice-President, TELUS and Partner Solutions and President, Business Solutions East and TELUS Québec.
