Tenaris has been recognized for its "outstanding performance" in supplying products and services to support Gran Tierra's operations in Colombia.

The Canadian-based energy company is the largest producer, reserve holder, and exploration landholder in the Putumayo Basin of southern Colombia. Production in its Colombian operations has increased from 368 barrels of oil per day NAR in 2006 to roughly 18,000 barrels per day in 2014.

The company recognized Tenaris following a recent evaluation and audit of its suppliers. During this proccess the company measured its suppliers based on performance in contractual agreement, administrative management, social responsibility, and health, safety, and environment management.

Tenaris proved outstanding in these areas as well as in product performance and the quality of services it provides.

Gonzalo Cuervo, Tenaris's commercial manager in Colombia, said the award was "an important acknowledgement of the work Tenaris performs as a team - both in the products we supply and the services we offer - to ensure customer satisfaction."
