Tenaris will be participating in the 5th annual Shale Gas World Europe conference on November 25 - 26 at the Warsaw XXI Expo Center in Poland.

This conference and exhibition aims to become the meeting point to connect shale gas operators with local and national governments, European authorities, license holders, investors, and solution providers, and has become one of the leading events on unconventional oil and gas operations in Europe.

At booth #20, Tenaris will highlight its solutions for shale gas and unconventional operations. Tenaris technical specialists will be on site during the two days of the event to present the benefits provided by Dopeless® technology including improved safety, environmental protection and running efficiency.  Dopeless® technology is a dry, multifunctional coating that makes thread compounds obsolete. It is applied at Tenaris mills around the world, in a fully automatic process, guaranteeing the exact amount of lubricant is applied.

Tenaris specialists will also present the TenarisHydril Wedge 625™ and TenarisHydril Wedge 513™ connections, designed for the most critical operations, including unconventional applications, and tested to the highest standards in terms of high torque and compression resistance.

Tenaris's customized logistics services and on-site support will also be highlighted at the booth.

Within the technical seminars program Massimo Lanna, Tenaris Technical Sales Manager Continental Europe, will be presenting the speech "Tubular solutions for shale gas applications", on Tenaris's solutions to the specific complexity of shales gas drilling and completion, with a special focus on production casing. The speech's topics will be:

  • Connections requirements in shale applications;
  • Tenaris products and solutions to meet these requirements
  • Presentation of two case studies in Poland
