Tenaris will introduce its BlueCoil™ technology - the next generation of coiled tubing - at the annual Coiled Tubing and Well Intervention Conference and Exhibition on March 24-25 at the Woodlands Waterway Mariott Hotel and Convention Center.

At booth 705, Tenaris coiled tubing experts will discuss the innovative BlueCoil™ technology, a unique manufacturing process, as well as the extended capabilities and equipment compatibility of the product. A technical presentation of Tenaris's paper titled "The Development of High-Strength Coiled Tubing with Improved Fatigue Performance and H2S Resistance" will take place on Tuesday, March 24 at 4:00 p.m.

Tenaris developed BlueCoil™ technology using innovative steel designs and proprietary manufacturing processes. The end result is a coiled tubing string with a vastly improved operational performance over conventional coiled tubing. BlueCoil™ products provide a higher strength as well as more fatigue and environmental resistance throughout their entire structure, improving reliability and extending the effective lifespan.

Tenaris was the first coiled tubing manufacturer in the world to earn API 5ST certification, setting a new industry standard for manufacturing and testing of coiled tubing. The arrival of BlueCoil™ technology reinforces Tenaris's mission of delivering value to its customers through product development backed by decades of experience in metallurgy.

The annual Coiled Tubing and Well Intervention Conference and Exhibition is organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the Intervention and Coiled Tubing Association (ICoTA) and draws more than 1,800 professionals to its sold-out event.
